In a glass slab refraction can take plce 2 times, after the refraction has taken place from the first surface... its refracted ray becomes the incident ray for the 2nd refraction and the refracted ray of 2nd surface is called the emergent ray...it is parallel to the first incident ray..so angle of incidence is equal to angle of emergence...i hope it will help u..
