The main difference between elections in India and Mexico is that in Mexico, elections are held to directly elect the President. On the other hand, in India, elections are held to elect only members of Parliament and state legislatures. The President is indirectly elected in India.
Also, presidential elections are held every six years in Mexico whereas in India, parliamentary elections are held every five years.
