Given , sin A = 3/5 We know, sin A= perpendicular /hyp. Therefore, P= 3 and H=5 Using Pythagoras theorem, H sq. = P sq. +B sq. or, 25 = 9 + B sq. or, B = 4 Therefore, cos A=B/H = 4/5 And, tan A = P/B = 3/4

Use square trigonometric identity = cos2A + sin2A = 1 TanA = sinA/ cosA = 3/5/4/5 = 3/4.
