The significance of lattice point . →a) each point in lattice is called lattice point or lattice side . b)each point in a crystal lattice represents one constituent particle which may be an atom or a molecule or a ion.. c)every lattice point has identical surrounding except those which are on the surface or corners of crystal d)if a line drown by line joining two lattice points, it would pass through a series of similar points at regular intervals. d)lattice points arejoined by straight lines to bring out the geometry of the lattice.these lines do not represent the chemistry bond.
