    METALS WITH ACIDS:- 1.Metals + dil. HCl------> salts + Hydrogen gas 2. Generally metals don't react with dil HNO3 Metals +dil. HNO3 ------->salts+NO2/N2O+ H2O EXCEPTIONAL Case:- Mn and Mg only react with HNO3 NON-METALS WITH ACID:- Generally non metals don't react with dil acids but on heating with concentrated acids, these forms oxides or salts HOPE IT HELPED YOU?

    Generally non metals don't react with acids because of their non corrosive nature and when metal are reacted with acids they produce salt and hydrogen gas ..

    Explanation:

    Acids + metals = salt and hydrogen gas .

    Acids + non metals = there will be no relation ... No change
