Parallel lines are the lines which when extended infinitely they will not meet. For example the two opposite edges of the scale aur the two opposite walls of a room While a perpendicular lines are the lines which intersect each other and makes an angle of 90°. For example the two adjacent edges of the scale or the two adjacent walls of a room.
