Dental Caries or tooth decay is described as the malfunctioning or damage of teeth due to the acids produced by bacterias.
These acids attack the enamel of the tooth which eventually leads to the development of a hole in a tooth known as the cavity.
This problem is often seen in children, adults, and teenagers. This may lead to infection, serious toothache, or tooth loss as well.
