Liberalism has been derived from Latin word Liber which means freedom or free.
For middle class it means political and equal freedom for everyone before the law.
In political sphere, Liberalism means rule governed by elected parliament.
Economically, liberalism means freedom of markets and removal of barriers that obstructe the free flow of trade.
For woman, Liberalism indicated universal suffrage.They demanded that the voting rights should be extended to them.
