1. In figure, ABCD is a parallelogram. AE DC and CF AD. If AB = 16 cm, AE = 8 cm and CF = 10 cm, find AD. Ans. ABCD is a parallelogram. DC = AB DC = 16 cm AE DC [Given] Now Area of parallelogram ABCD = Base x Corresponding height Using base AD and height CF, we can find, Area of parallelogram 128 AD = = 12.8 cm
