AB = AC

Therefore, ∠B =∠C ( Angles Opposite to equal sides are equal )

∠A+∠B+∠C = 180° (Angle Sum Property)

or, ∠A+50°+50° = 180°

or, ∠A+100° = 180°

or, ∠A = 180°-100°

or, ∠A=80°

Therefore, ∠A=80°
