How would you confirm in your laboratory whether a given solution is a colloid or not. Give atleast its two properties.

We have to paas a light ray from the solution in a transparent beaker, if the light scatter ang the path of light is visible then it is a colloid.This scattering of light is known as Tyndall effect. It's 2 properties are:- 1) They are hetrogeneous mixture. 2) It can be separated by special technique known as centrifugation.
