Wheat and barley crops are consider as rabi crop in Punjab and in UP. Peddy and maize crops are consider as kharif crop in Assam and in Andhrapradesh.

Linseed,mustard are rabi crops. Sesamum is a kharif crop in north & rabi crop in south.Castor seed is grown both as rabi & kharif crop.
