p(x) = 2x²-3x+7a

2 is the zero of the polynomial

So, substitution

p(2) = 0

p(2) = 2(2)2 - 3x + 7a

0 = 2(4)-3(2)+7a

0 = 8-6+7a

0 = 2+7a

-2 = 7a

-2/7 = a

-2/7 = a

The value of a is -2/7
