First combine the like terms (eg : x,2x, 5x is a like term.,, 5y,34y, ) Combine and add them. X+2x+5x = 8x (if there is nothing with x we consider it 1) •5y+34y= 38y. • 8x+38y is the answer as we can't solve it further because the terms are unlike terms. Even if one term is x^2 (x sq.) And other has the variable 'x' we will still consider it unlike. ●●● hope it helped
