x² + bx +12=0.
2 is a root of the equation.
Then, 4+2b+12=0.
Then, 2b+16=0.
So, 2b= -16.
Therefore, b= -8.
x2+bx+q=0.
x2-8k+q=0.
Equal roots, so b² =4ac.
64=4 × 1×q
q=16.
