X=2 X²-kx+10=0 2²-k(2)+10=0 4-2k+10=0 -2k+4+10=0 -2k+14=0 -2k=-14 K=-14/-2 K=7

Given x-2=0.....so, x=2 2²-2k+10=0 -2k=-10-4 2k=14 (cancelling negative sign) k=14/2 k=7 #Hope it is helpful...

Put x = 2

x2-kx+10 = 0

 (2)2 - k(2) + 10 = 0
4 - 2k + 10 = 0
-2x +14 = 0

-2x = -14

x = 14/2 = 7
