Salts are classified as acidic salt or basic salt or neutral salt. Acidic salts have the pH lower than 7. They are formed by reaction between strong acid and weak base. Basic Salts have pH higher than 7. They are formed by reaction between weak acid and strong base. Neutral salts have pH of 7. They are formed by the reaction between strong acid and strong base.
