RBI which stands for reserve Bank of India
i).it checks that if the bank maintain the minium cash balance or not.

ii). it also check that if the banks not only give the loan to the profit making business man and rich trader but also to the small farmers, etc.

iii). banks have to give the report of how much interest they are giving to the depositors and how much interest they are charging to the borrowers.
