Linear magnification produced by a spherical mirror is the ratio of the size of the image formed by the mirror so that of the size of the object.
⇒ m= I / O
where, I = Image size
And, O = Object size
It asically tells how big or small an image is when compared to the size of the corresponding object. The size or dimensions are measured as either height or length.
