Equivalent resistance in parallel: 1/R=1/R1 +1/R2 1/R=1/1 +1/10 1/R=10+1/10 1/R=11/10 1/R=1.1 R=1/1.1 Hence the equivalent resistance is 1/1.1 ohm.
