4 ohm + 8ohm = 12 ohm. 1/12 ohm+ 1/12 ohm= 2/12 ohm= 1/6 => 6 ohm Ans

It's easy buddy, see first make to parallel line. One will have 4 and 8 ohm resistance and in bottom line it would be 12 ohm. Then You will get the desired resistance
