Expert Answer:

 

X/2 + Y/3 = 2 → 3X + 2Y = 12.....(i)

X/3 + Y/2 = 13/6 → 2X + 3Y = 13....(ii)

Adding (i) and (ii) we get X = 2 

Subtracting (ii) from (i) we get Y = 3

1/x = 2 and 1/y = 3

x = 1/2 and y = 1/3
