Four features of democracy; 1-In a democracy the final decision making power must rest with those elected by the people. 2-A democracy must be based on a free and fair election where those currently in power have a fair chance of losing. 3-In a democracy each adult citizen must have one vote and each vote must have one value. 4-A democratic government rules within limits set by constitutional law and citizen's righ Countries that pretend to be democracies-China,mexico,pakistan etc.

The main features of Democracy are:-

People have the main powers in democracy. They elect their own representatives.
Democracy is mostly based on equality. Everyone citizen is treated equally.
The party which gets the majority will generally win the elections. It is accepted by all
In democracy minorities were also given preference. They are allowed to participate in discussions.
In democracy every individual is provided with some basic fundamental rights which are not to be violated.
Democracy strictly follows the rule of law. Everyone should abide by the law.
In democracy judiciary is independent from other institutions. It always supports the truth and law.
