here ,, discriminant = (b^2 - 4ac ) = (-3 )^2 + (4×2×5) = 49 Quadratic formula: x = (-b +or- root of B^3 - 4ac )÷ by 2a 1. X = (3 + root of 49)÷ 4 =2.5 2. X= ( 3- root of 49) ÷ 4 = -4÷4 -1
