Management is pervasive/universal because it is used everywhere. It includes all organisations whether it is big or small, manufacturing or services, and also in non-business organisations. What managers do in India, Japan and Germany is same but how they do is different because of difference in culture, tradition and history.

Management is pervasive/universal because it includes all size of organization whether it is small or large , it includes all organizational area like manufacturing , marketing , human resources , accounting,etc. It includes types of organization like profit or not for profit and it also includes organizational level bottom and top. Management is considered pervasive as it is required in all types of organization whether it is profit making, non-profit making, business or non-business, at all levels whether it is top level management or middle level management or lower level management. Management is considered as an universal phenomenon. Management is even required in a hospital, school, club and house too. Therefore, it is pervasive in nature.
