SI unit of resistance is Ohm ( Ω ). Ohm is the unit measurement of electrical resistance. Resistance = Volt/ Ampere = Ω; a circuits resistance is 1 Ohm when a potential difference of 1 volt is required to produce a current flow of 1 ampere. The symbol for Ohm is the Greek letter omega.
