A permanent magnet is one that retains its magnetic properties for a long period of time. Examples are iron, nickel, cobalt and some rare earth alloys etc. Temporary magnets are those that simply act like permanent magnets when they are within a strong magnetic field.

permanent permanent magnet are those which produce a comparitively weak force of attraction its tenth can't be changed the polity of this magnetic fields and cannot be changed example bar magnet. temporary magnet are those which produce a strong force of attraction its tenth can't be changed its quality is not fix and it can you change in by the change of direction of current in a coil example electromagnet
