Answer :- (b) Violation of Salt Tax by Gandhi
After famous Dandi March of Mahatma Gandhi, thousand in different parts of country broke the salt law. This marked the beginning of Civil Disobedience Movement. People not only refused to cooperate but also broke colonial laws.
The peasants join the movement because they wanted to get rid of the British rule so they would get rid of paying taxes. They also believed on Gandhiji that the movement would work.
