if we multiply or divide both sides of a linear equation by a non zero number, then the roots of linear equation will remain same.
Explanation :
Let a linear equation in one variable x is
3x = 15 ---(1)
i ) Multiply equation (1) by 2,we get
2×3x = 2×15
=> 6x = 30
Therefore,
