Modern version of cell theory say that ( 1) all living organism are composed of cell and their product. ( 2 ) the cell is the structural and functional unit of life . ( 3 ) all cells aries from pre existing cells. ( 4 ) the smallest unit of life is the cell, i.e ,every organism starts its life as a single cell.

The theory is the basic introduction of cell.In this it's is given that cell was first discovered by Robert hooke. He discovered the dead cell, through simple microscope.After that the living cell was discovered by Anton van leewhooke.The cell theory was given by sclerden and schween.The main points of cell theory are:- (I) cell is the basic or fundamental part of living body. (ii) The whole body is made up of cell. (iii)New cells form when pre-existing cell divides.

The Cell Theory is one of the basic principles of biology proposed by the scientists Theodor Schwann, Matthias Schleiden, and Rudolph Virchow.

It states that

i) All living organisms are composed of cells.

ii) The cell is the basic unit of life.

Mathias Schleiden and Theodor Schwann in 1838 postulated Cell Theory.

The Cell Theory states that:

All living organisms are formed of one or more cells.
New cells arise from pre-existing cells by cell division.
Cell is the fundamental unit of structure and function in living organism.
