Draw a right angle triangle which the BC is the adjacent side and AB as a perpendicular side and AC is a hypotenuse Then the given is 45° of angle of elevation so tan A = 45° So, to find the height let AB be the height and BC be the base 100m so, BC/AC = Tan 45° Sub BC and AC and Tan 45° as h and 100 and 1 h/100 = 1 h = 100*1 h= 100
