Gujjar Bakarwal are from Jammu & Kashmir. Gaddi Shepherds are from Himachal Pradesh.Gujjar Bakarwal are nomadic. Gaddi Shepherds believe in god, specifically Lord Shiva. Gaddis's live in Chamba district and the valley of Budhil river. Gujjar's live in north west India from the Ganges to peninsular Gujarat.Men and Women of Gujjar dress similarly, unlike Gaddi's where wear launchiri and gold ornaments.
