By given data the perimeter of the rectangle is 9 m
P = 2 ( L + B)
Given P = 9 m
L = 2 5/16 This means 2 + 5/16 or 37/16 m
So B = (P/2) - L
Plugging B = (9/2) -(37/16)
= (72 - 37) / 16 (after taking lcm as 16)
= 35/16 m
So B = 2 3/16 m
