The story, ‘The Wind on the haunted hill’ by Ruskin Bond, is a story that depicts values like courage, friendship and survival.
In this story, Usha is on her way home from the bazaar. However, she is compelled to halt her journey because she gets caught in a heavy storm, which is accompanied by thunder and lightning.
She wants to seek shelter from the storm and goes to the ruins of the Hunted Hill.
