India is a country with enormous diversity in the availability of resources. Some region are rich in certain types of resources but are deficient in some other resources. Certain regions are self sufficient in terms of resources whereas some regions faces acute scarcity of vital resources. Jharkhand, Chhatisgargh, Madhyapradesh are rich in minerals and coal deposits whereas Arunachal Pradesh has plenty of water resources but lacks in infrastructural development. Rajasthan have ample of wind and solar energy but lacks in water resources. So to cope up with all these diversities, planning of judicious use of resources is required so every state can be made essential resources in right proportions.
