Number of moles of solute divided by mass of solvent in kgs is called molality. Second term is molarity define as the number of moles of solute is divided by one litre of solution is called molarity

M =n2/V1(in L) and m= n2/w1(in kg)

Molality m = no. of moles of solute/ weight of solvent in kg (if weight of solvent is in grams then multiply the above eqn with 1000).....Molarity M = no. of moles of solute /volume of solution in litres (If the volume is in mL, multiply the above eqn with 1000)....
