In case of answer in chemistry.. When elements of group 15 are dopped with elements of group 14, the mixture or a type of compound we get is n-type semiconductor. They are electron rich semiconductor and these electron flows the cirrent in them.

When pentavelent atom are doped in a semiconductor,it release an electron and thus typ of semiconductor are called n-semiconductor.
