Physical education in high school is essential to the development of motor skills and the enhancement of reflexes. Hand-eye coordination is improved, as well as good body movements, which helps in the development of a healthy body posture. Physical education teaches students the importance of physical health.
Physical education talks about student development through physical knowledge and proficiency ; and their ability to use these to perform in a wide array of activities associated with the development of a healthy lifestyle.
It helps enhance the confidence and generic skills, especially those of alliance, communication, creativity, critical thinking etc.
On the other hand academic classroom based education focuses on the academic learning of the student, where the main focus of the teacher lies in teaching the child bookish knowledge.
