R1 = 1/16, R2 = 1/10 and R3 = 1/20 so when tey work together R = R1 +R2 + R3 R = 1/16 + 1/10 + 1/20 =( 20 + 32 + 16)/320 = 68/320 so the time taken to finesh the work is 320/68 = 4. 705 minutes approx here you are using rate of work topic
