Locate the zeroes of polynomial f(x)=2x^2-5x-3 in cartesian plane
  • 1 answers

Yogita Ingle 4 years, 4 months ago

2x- 5x + 3 = 2x2 - 2x - 3x + 3

                   = 2x(x - 1) - 3(x - 1)

                   = (x - 1)(2x - 3)

Zeroes of a polynomial are 1 and 3/2.

Hence, p can take value either 1 or 3/2.
