x+y=10=>x+y-10=0.. 2x-2y=2=>x-y-1=0.. From cross multiplication, x÷(1×(-1)-(-1)(-10)=y÷(-10×1-(-1) (1)=1÷(1(-1)-1(1). =>x÷(-11)=y÷(-9)=1÷(-2) A/q. -x/11=-1/2=>x/11=1/2=>x=11/2.and -y/9=-1/2=>y=9/2
