1.If we use one line,it is impossible to predict the position of image as there is no intersection of lines. 2.It is recommended to use two lines because it makes the diagram clear .Prediction of image is also possible as they intersect each other. 3.More than two lines are avoid because it makes the diagram messy and dirty.

To construct a ray diagram we use two light which are choosen that it is easy to know their direction after reflection from the lens.List these two rays and state the path of these rays after refractio use these two rays to locate the image of the object placed between 'F' and '2F' of a convex lens.
