9volt...apply the formula r=(l1/l2-1)R and put the values of r, l1, and R i.e., 5, 40, and 10 respectively then find the value of l2 which will be 80/3 now put it in the formula E/V=l1/l2 V=6v and l1, l2 are 40 and 80/3 solve it your answer will be 9v.
