Why should we take only 2 solutions for parallel lines in a graph? Or can we take 3 solutions also? And how will we get to by seeing the equation whether it will form parallel lines or intersecting lines or coincident lines?

We just need to get a line which can be possible with two solutions also. If a1=a2 and b1=b2 but c1 is not equal to c2 then the pair of linear equations in two variables will have no solution i.e., we'll get parallel lines.

On seeing both equations we will find that both are multiple of one another. For example ,4x+ 3y =7and 8x+6y = 14

3 solutions can be taken. Let the given equation system be 1.ax+by+c=o 2.a'x+b'y+c'=0 If a/a' is not equal to b/b'. Then, lines intersect at one point. If a/a'=b/b'=c/c' Then, lines are parallel. If a/a'=b/b' €c/c'. {€=not equal} Then, lines don't intersect.
