12. Explain Doppler’s effect and derive an expression for apparent frequency when observer and source both are moving.
A rocket is moving at a speed of 200 m/s towards a stationary target. While moving, it emits a wave of frequency of 1000 Hz. Some of the sound reaching the target gets reflected back to the rocket as an echo. Calculate the frequency of echo detected by another rocket moving away from target with speed 100 m/s.
