The historians face several difficulties in using manuscripts. There was no printing press in those days so scribes copied manuscripts by hand. Manuscript copying is not an easy job. As scribes copied manuscripts, they also introduced small changes—a word here, a sentence there.

While using manuscripts, the historians face many difficulties like, the manuscripts were written by the hands, where there were major differences between the two copies. There were also many changes occurred at the time of copy them. Because of this, the historians have to read the many versions of the manuscript to understand what actually had written.
