Computer Science is the study of computers and computational systems. Unlike electrical and computer engineers, computer scientists deal mostly with software and software systems; this includes their theory, design, development, and application. Computer science is the scientific approach to computation, along with its wide range of applications. Computer scientists study the feasibility and mechanisation of procedures, known as algorithms, which underlie the acquisition, processing, storage and communication of data.
