The small intestine has million of finger like projections called villi . They increase the surface area for absorption of digested food.

The small intestine has million of finger like projections called villi. These villi increase the surface area for more efficient food absorption . With these villis,many blood vessels are presentthat absorb the digested food and carry it to the blood stream.☺️
