p(x)=q(x)*g(x)+r(x) x³-3x²+5x-3=(x-3)*g(x)+(7x-9) x³-3x²+5x-3-7x+9=(x-3)*g(x) x³-3x²-2x+6÷x-3=g(x) By long division g(x)=x²-2
