Prove the fundamental theorem of arithmetic. Explain how does this theorem help you to find the HCF and LCM of two positive integers ?

Well first of all you have to find the factors of the number:- eg- 8 = 2x2x2 and 10 = 2x5 so for finding LCM we have to take highest common factor multiplied by the remaining one i.e. 2^3(or 8)x5=40(LCM) and for HCF just multiply the common term at it's least power i.e. 2
